Always in December is primarily set in London, where Josie and Max first meet after their accidental collision on a snowy December night.

As they spend time together over the holidays, their connection becomes tender and undeniable. Yet Max remains mysterious, kind, warm, but clearly hiding something. And just when their bond deepens, he abruptly disappears from Josie’s life without explanation.

Months pass. Josie tries to move forward, but London is full of reminders. Then, unexpectedly, she runs into Max again but this time in New York City. Their chemistry rekindles instantly, but Max again pulls away.

Their paths cross several more times; in Edinburgh, and elsewhere, giving the story a sense of fate and missed timing. 

Each encounter is filled with tension, longing, and unspoken emotion.
